Fat Tire Fest Flash!
CORBA's 21st Annual Fat Tire Fest and Fundraiser is Sunday
October 12th at Castaic Lake!This week's FEATURED events include: KIDS BIKE RODEO, CYNERGY's HILL CLIMB CONTEST and BIKE WARRIOR'S WHEELIE CONTEST and DEMO. Come out and join the FUN!
KIDS BIKE RODEO! Come out and join the Family Fun! The Kids Bike Rodeo is for children ages ten years and younger accompanied by a parent or guardian. We will combine safety and fun games on bikes! The stations are
- Helmet safety checks
- Bike fit check
- Driveway Ride Out teaching children to stop at the end of their driveway
- Rock Dodge obstacle course
- Slow Race
There will be prizes awarded to the winners for the Rock Dodge obstacle course and the Slow Race. Prizes for those two events will be the book written by Los Angeles author and musician Mike Ward titled "Mike and the Bike" foreward by Lance Armstrong. Kids Bike Rodeo will be held in the main staging area from 10 AM - 12 Noon.
Goodie bags will be given to all children participating in the rodeo! ALL children MUST wear helmets to ride in the bike rodeo.

CYNERGY HILL CLIMB CONTEST: Are
you ready for the cardio challenge? Come test your uphill climbing
strength, agility and cardio! Win prizes from Cynergy Cycles for
the best times for men, women and kids! The Hill Climb Contest will
be held at the bottom of the West Ridge Trail from 11:30 AM - 1:30
PM across the road from the main staging area. The Poker ride route
on West Ridge will be closed down for this event at 11:30 AM. Sign
up for the Hill Climb at the Cynergy Exhibit booth.
BIKE WARRIOR'S WHEELIE DEMO AND CONTEST:
Learn how to pick up that front wheel and keep it up! Ray Leibert
from Bike Warrior will conduct a wheelie demo then the fun begins!
The question IS: HOW LONG can you keep that wheelie going? 
The winner
will receive the grand prize from Bike Warrior! Come test your skill
and balance! The Wheelie Contest will take place in the main staging
area from 1 PM - 2 PM.
